Three types of rotation diet plan

These three diet plans have one thing in common: they rotate different foods into the diet for one reason or another. One type is used to identify and control your food allergies, while the others are for weight loss or control by establishing just the right metabolic rate for you.

For those suffering from food allergies. Begun by Dr Lieberman the aim is to identify hidden food allergies, prevent new allergies from developing, and overcome allergic symptoms. The fact is only five percent of all food allergies are fixed and cannot be overcome by avoiding them for a certain period of time followed by consistent food rotation. It is anchored on the ability of your immune system to correct itself through minimization of adverse food reaction by the body and then preventing cumulative effects.

It is a four day rotation plan when no food is repeated until the 5th day; food from the same botanical food family you only use every other day; and you may not use one food twice in one day.

Dr Martin Katahn diet plan. This plan reduces your calorie intake while maintaining your body's metabolic rate. During the first three weeks, only a limited amount of calorie is permitted but on the fourth week the restriction is completely removed and you return to your usual eating habits. You then repeat the cycle.

Basically, 600 calories are allowed for women and 1200 calories for men during the first week; 900 calories are allowed for women and 1500 for men during the next; while in the third week, 1200 for women and 1800 for men. After the cycle is completed, you are allowed to return to your normal eating habits for the purpose of maintaining your metabolic rate. The shortage of calories in a week is claimed to create weight loss of around 4 pounds.

Jason Hunter carb rotation diet plan. This has a three-day cycle repeated over 30 days.

First day - high carb and mid protein and vegetables
Second day - lo carb and mid protein and vegetables
Third day - no carb and all protein and vegetables
Fourth to sixth days - repeat first to third days.

During those three days, only whole grain carbohydrates, nutrient rich high fiber vegetables, foods with polysaturated and monosaturated fats are eaten in your daily 5-6 mini-meals. You are required to drink 1 oz of water per 2 pounds body weight to help in removing toxins from your body.

Strength training exercises are required twice a week plus cardio training for at least 20 minutes 3 times a week. One physical trainer complained that adopting the Katahn rotation diet left him feeling extremely weak so that he could not exercise, he became irritable, and craving even foods he normally would not eat. The result was lost opportunity to lose weight. The carb rotation diet seem viable in that it is packed with high nutrient foods coupled with exercise; and the claim of achieving 15 pounds weight loss in 30 days is highly probable.
