Lie on your bed facing the ceiling. With your head hanging off the edge of the bed, open your eyes very wide, then relax. Do this ten times.

The areas around your eyes are one of the Key areas of your face, you require most to work out--as those crow's feet stand out as a testimony to your age. Here are some Facial Exercises for the Eyes:-

Place both thumbs at the outer corners of your eyes, when you close your eyes firmly. Then gently pull the skin towards your temples.
With your eyes firmly closed, place both index fingers flat under your eyebrows and stretch the skin upwards - your eyes remain closed.
Open your eyes. Next, raise your eyebrows while half closing your eyes and hold for a few seconds. Then, open your eyes as wide as you can and hold for a few seconds.
Keep your eyes open, look up and down as far as possible, without shifting your head. Do the same, with both eyes looking far to the left and then to the right. Finally, stare straight ahead.

Toning Exercises for the Cheeks:-

Close your mouth. Suck both cheeks inward, then hold to a count of ten and release. Do this by sucking in one cheek at a time.
Keep your mouth closed. Next, fill your mouth with air and hold it under your upper lip for five seconds. Then move it to your right cheek. Hold for a few seconds, then move to your left cheek and again hold for five seconds. Next, move the air to your lower lip and hold. After five seconds, blow the air out.
With your lips closed, pucker your lips using your cheek muscles. Hold your lips puckered for five seconds, then relax.

Toning Exercises for the Lips:-

With your lips firmly together, draw them towards your nose. Hold for five seconds then relax.
Keep your lips and teeth pressed together, then smile as broad as you can. Hold that smile for five seconds then relax.
Draw your lips in a kissing position, as hard as possible. Hold it to a count of five, then relax.
Pucker your lips as far out as possible. While trying to touch your nose with the upper lip, aim for your chin with the lower lip.

Sagging Jowls are one of the biggest tell-tale signs of aging. As to when, your jowls begin to sag depends mainly on genetics, your facial muscles and skin types. These are some natural facial exercises to help lift those ugly jowls:-

The " Vowel " face exercise, though shunned and ridiculed by some people, is still practised by others. Pronounce the vowel sounds of a,e,i,o,u! In order to be effective, you have to over emphasize and exaggerate the movement of the mouth to work your facial muscles. After a repetition of five times, you are then able to feel the tension in your cheeks and neck, knowing you have strengthened your jaw muscles.
Wrist massage - Get a good massage oil which you can safely use on your face before massaging. Using the back of your wrists, massage in a circular movement on your cheek areas and along the jaw lines for about three minutes.

Facial Gymnastics for the Neck and Jowls:-

Sit upright and look ahead. With your index finger and thumb placed on your neck, gently pull the skin down, as you lift your head up. Hold it to a count of five, then return to your resting position Do this ten times.
Sitting up, tilt back your head and look up at the ceiling. With lips closed, begin a chewing motion for a count of twenty. Can you feel your neck and throat muscles working? If you can --good!
As you sit upright, tilt your head back. Keep your mouth closed, but relaxed. Pucker your lips together like in a kiss, then stretching that kiss, make as though you are reaching out to kiss the ceiling. Hold your lips in this position to a count of ten. Relax and bring your head back to its normal position. Repeat five times.
Once more, sit straight and tilt back your head. Your lips must be closed, but relaxed. Open your lips and protrude your tongue out. With the tip of your tongue, try to touch your chin. Hold it for ten counts, then relax. Do a repetition of five times.
Again sit straight up, gently droop your head forward, with the weight of your head stretching your neck muscles. Hold for a count of five, then relax your head in its normal position. Repeat five times.
When you sit up, tilt your head back with your mouth closed, but relaxed. Try moving your lower lip over your upper lip, as far as you can. Hold it for a count of five, then relax and repeat five times.
As you sit upright, turn your head gently to the right, your chin kept level until you feel your neck stretching. Hold it for five seconds, then relax and return your head to to its normal position. Do the same stretch while turning to the left. Repeat five times.

Hold in that position and close your eyes without moving your fingers or eyebrows. The upper eyelid now needs to be moved downwards over your eyes in small movements. Doing this, you will feel a gentle stretch on the upper lids. When your eyelids are fully closed over your eye at full stretch, hold them for 15 seconds and then gently release the stretch and open the eye. Repeat this three times.

The pull on the side of your mouth will make you feel that you are making a fish face. However the end result will be that you are keeping the facial muscles supple as well as reducing some of the most obvious signs of aging. You need to hold the face for up to five seconds and then you relax back into the release position. This exercise should be done about three times one after the other. The area around the moth will be the beneficiary. You will also tackle the smile lines in the process. It might seem like a rather complicated process but in reality it is one of the simpler exercises to finish off. You can do it discreetly in public as long as you do not make exaggerated noises or gestures to startle the people around you. The other exercise is known as the donut face because it creates an expression that is very similar to the one that would be experienced when a child is presented with a donut. You need to start with the little zero figures in your mouth. You then smile with the corners of the mouth. The cheeks will start to tighten as you do this sort of exercise. This is an exercise that injects humor into what might turn out to be a ludicrous session. You can do it amongst your circle of friends so that they do not start to think that you are some sort of maniac.

As years creep in, the cheeks sink in and hollows appear where once they were full and plump. This is due to the shrinking of the supporting muscles. There are four of these muscles on each side of the face. As we grow older these muscles lose their strength and elasticity. And this change produces the pendant or loose jowl characteristic of age, just as their lessened size is the cause of the hollows in the cheeks.

These are voluntary muscles and can be exercised at will. Just as exercise of the muscles of arms, legs and any other part of the body can improve them; exercise of the facial muscles will yield the same result. There have been wide publications of these systems of facial exercises in beauty books and essays. It is termed as "facial gymnastics or making faces" and will produce remarkable results when practiced faithfully and persistently.

A far better and quicker method is a massage system, which I have devised and practiced while the cheek muscles are contracted. By this, satisfactory results can be obtained in a very short time, and with very little trouble.

First familiarize yourself with the position of these cheek muscles. There are eight long muscles, four on each side. They are attached to the cheekbones immediately below the eyes. From there, it descends to become attached to the wide muscular band surrounding the mouth. You can contract these cheek muscles at will, this action forming a bunch on the cheekbones under the eyes.

There is another set of strong muscles that holds up these cheek-supporting muscles. It is also fastened to the cheekbones extending downwards and is attached along the jawbones. This may be termed as the chewing muscle. And while it plays an important part in supporting the cheeks and determining their contour, it cannot be contracted or exercised at will, except in the act of chewing. Its action is independent of the cheek muscles; although when they are contracted upward some tension is placed upon it.

In youth these muscles are, or should be, strong, elastic and can support the tissue and skin overlying them, giving the cheeks the full, round appearance characteristics of that period of life. As years advance, lack of exercise can shrink and lose their former size, strength and elasticity just as any muscle of the body will do under like conditions. The skin covering will lose its support, fall into the creases and create wrinkles.

These are the obvious indications of physical age, as they tell the tale of the shrunken mus¬cles underlying. There is one cure for these wrinkles, wasted chin and hollow cheeks and that is the restoration of the sup¬porting muscles to their former plumpness and strength. All the so-called solutions such as medicinal preparations, "skin foods", etc. would not work especially if not accompanied by exercises.

It is true that by a system of diet, and especially by drinking copiously of milk, an increase of fatty tissues can be obtained. The face will become more plump and the surface of the skin smoother. But if the underlying muscles are not developed the face will still present a flabby look, the jowl may sag and the appearance of a double chin be more pronounced. These facial indications of physical age are not especially the signs of advanced years, being principally due to lack of exercise of the supporting facial muscles.

The explanation of the speedy enlargement of the muscles "deeply massaged" would be that the network of blood vessels and the countless capillaries become distended when pumped by blood through the process. This is a healthy congestion and if persistently practiced, will have a permanent development thus returning the elasticity and fullness of youth.

I do not claim that large muscles produced by this method indicate great strength. But for a faster and obvious result in regaining the plumpness and filling out of the cheeks, chin and jaw, this is the most effective way.
